Mellon Indigenous Arts Initiative Internship Grant supports UVA students who have secured unpaid internships at museums, archives, or historic sites. This grant aims to encourage study in the Indigenous arts and to increase access to curatorial experience for students from backgrounds traditionally underrepresented in museum careers. Applications are open to rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors in all fields of study who are in good academic standing (GPA 3.0 or higher). Grant amount is $3,500.
